Hey Gang,

I kid you not if I say that things are hectic at the Groove Garage! These first few months are usually less busy but I have been giiging my pants off. I started last week Tuesday all the way up to Sunday whilst also having to mix a brand new cd compilation.

That's right! A brand new series called Lucien's Heroes Of Housemusic.

This concept also entails a cd club tour starting at Club Panama, Amsterdam (March 20, 2010) with my boys Sunnery & Ryan, Leroy Styles, Diephuis and more. More dates will follow soon! So keep coming back to this site for the info as it unveils!

I realise the title is a bold one. I have specifically chosen it because to anyone anything could be labeled as heroic, right?

In my mind, the tracks that have made it on to this double cd are truly heroic in nature and have (and continue to) give me inspiration to do what I do best.

Namely: put a smile on my dance floor!

If you are looking for easy to divulge, McDonald's, entry-level bleepy house tracks I'd suggest you look elsewhere. If however you have an open mind about music, if you have the ability to think "outside the box", you'll find yourself in luck and this cd is for you.

It's a reflection of where I'm at musically which I would describe of a hodge podge of a variety of styles and is purely mixed with a live dj set in mind. I have used Traktor Scratch Pro, Ableton Live and Logic Pro to make sure everything is up to todays High Standard of sonic quality!

It's one of those storyteller cd's here imho (in my honest opinion) the previous track launches the next and we all collectively climb to another level of power and adrenalin. That "story" that dj's tell on that thing called the "global dancefloor' is becoming a young adolescent of some 25 years old! 

Because the body can be predictable in what it's used to, the mind can take things so much further. Any movie that started out as a book prooves this point!
